Privacy Policy

www.ventela.com is run by PT Sinar Runnerindo, owner of the Ventela® brand (“Ventela” or “we”). This page explains what data we collect through this website, why, who can see it and what your rights are, in line with Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.

Data we collect

  • Contact form: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, city, topic and your message.
  • Report form (Authenticity Check page): platform, shop or account name, the reported link, reasons, whether you bought from it, extra notes, and your contact details if you add them (optional).
  • Data sent along with a form: the page the form was sent from, the page you came from, and campaign tags (UTM) if any. Your IP address is only used briefly (10 minutes) to stop spam and is not stored with your message or report.
  • Visit statistics: we use Google Analytics to count visitors and see which pages are opened. Google Analytics uses cookies and records data such as approximate location, device type, browser and pages visited. This data does not include your name or contact details.
  • “Check a shop or account” tool: what you paste is checked in your browser and is not sent to our server.

This website has no visitor accounts, shopping cart or payments. Purchases happen at Authorized Stores, under each store’s and platform’s own privacy policy.

How we use it

  • To reply to your messages and questions.
  • To follow up on reports about shops or accounts that claim to be official, including contacting you if we need more details.
  • To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Who can see your data

  • The Ventela team that handles messages and reports.
  • Service providers that help run the website: our web hosting provider, and Google (Google Analytics, Gmail for notification emails, Google Fonts for the typeface, and Google Maps for the map on the Contact page).
  • Marketplaces or platforms, for the content of a report without your contact details, when needed to act against unofficial shops or accounts.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Messages and reports are kept as long as needed to follow them up and as an internal record, then deleted when no longer needed or when you ask us to. Google Analytics data is kept according to the Google Analytics retention setting.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent. Send your request to ventelashoes@gmail.com. You can also refuse Google Analytics cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.

Security

This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Messages and reports can only be opened by authorised staff.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the version in force.
